The Tomcat Orange storage and backup platform is designed from modular building blocks to provide high-performance to cost-effective storage solutions for hot, warm, cool, and cold storage requirements. NVMe Direct Attached Storage is a standard component in all compute nodes and the fastest available storage, our regular storage is entirely comprised of Enterprise Solid State Drives. For longer-term data retention requirements that do not require frequent access, we provide large capacity SATA drives for cost-effective management.
Our immutable backup solutions utilizing snapshots and object-storage buckets can be configured to use either storage tier depending on RPO/RTO and data retention requirements.
